Diagnostic Procedures

¹ the time spans stated are the average peaks of approximately 90 percent of all data rescue cases processed in our laboratory. Discrepancies are possible depending on the technical condition of the data medium and our lab technicians‘ workload.

² Pickup within 4 hours‘ time is possible on working days from 8am to 6pm. Outside these hours we are happy to organise fee-based world-wide direct transport.

³ Economy: After commissioning of the data rescue the fee has to be payed not before more than 80 percent of you specified data (measureable number or capacity of folders or data types) or more than 80 percent of the total capacity of the data medium of physical raw data/sectors can be reconstructed.

³ Business/High Priority: Together with the data rescue offer you receive file lists with the reconstructible data and receive the opportunity inspect the rescued data in our laboratory. Based on these informations you decide if you award a contract for the data rescue.

Attingo provides a diagnosis free of charge in the Economy Service. Within about one to two working days you receive a fixed price offer after the initial assessment by our qualified technicians. After the award of contract our technicians will start with the reconstruction of your data

If you choose our Business Service Attingo reconstructs your data already during the diagnosis wthin one to two working days. We pick up your data medium free of charge via parcel service overnight or via direct carrier (Hambury city area). As soon as the data medium arrives in our laboratory we start with the data rescue in advance.

You decide after the data rescue is performed! You receive file lists with all reconstructible data or not completely reconstructable data if there are irreparable read errors on the magnetic layer or memory cells. If you wish you can inspect the rescued data in our laboratory.

Attingo Data Rescue is there for you, each day a year and even outside the common business hours can can reach us under +43 1 236 01 01. As soon as the data medium arrives in our laboratory, the data rescue process starts and is performed as fast as technically possible.

After the data rescue is finished you receive file lists with the rescue data. Urgently needed files, databases or snapshots of virtual machines are passed on to you via encrypted download.

Diagnostic costs

The diagnostic costs relate to a single data medium (HDD hard drive, SSD, external hard drive, memory card,…). Within a RAID network (independent of the RAID level of the server, NAS, storage) an additional fee of 110€ excl. VAT. has to be paid for every additional media within this RAID/volume/LUN.

In rare cases we provide an extended diagnosis, for example when the damage on the data medium is significantly higher than average, but a data rescue should be tried nevertheless or special development is needed for this case. You receive an offer including the estimated duration as well as the chances of success and the non-performance-based costs of the extended diagnosis. After award of contract the costs are due independently of the success of diagnosis and data rescue.

Data rescue costs

Data guarantee: You only pay after the successful performance and delivery of the data rescue!
The total costs are dependent on the effort of the data rescue and comprise the working hours, the spare parts needed and the technology used. So they may vary significantly from case to case. We gladly name the anticipated price range for your individual case according to your error description via telephone, e-mail or in person.

Special conditions

• Attingo reserves the right to agree on individuel diagnostic (e.g. with special error pattern or manipulated/previoulsy opened data media) or to reject the diagnosis/data rescue.
• Every invoice has to be paid in advance or cash upon pick-ip. Delivery of reconstruced data is only possible after a completed payment.
• If you reclaim your storage media before the diagnosis or data rescue is completed, the case will be automatically be closed and your offer loses its validity.
