The protection of your personal data is very important to us. We process your data absolutely confidential and therefore exclusively on the basis of the legal regulations (DSGVO, TKG 2003). The server for this website is stationed in Austria and is hosted by our owning company (Attingo Informationstechnologie GmbH).
In this privacy policy we inform you about the most important aspects of data processing within our website.
As a specialist for data recovery, we continuously process sensitive data from the public sector, from companies and private customers. In addition to police, courts, law firms and experts, our clients include hospitals, health insurance companies and tax auditors.
Storage media of customers as well as stored data are thus processed exclusively in our in-house cleanroom laboratories of Attingo Datenrettung in Austria (Vienna), Germany (Hamburg) or the Netherlands (Nieuw Vennep), and not forwarded to third parties or outside the home country. The processing is done exclusively by our specially trained technicians of Attingo Datarescue.
For technical reasons, it may be necessary for our technicians to open customer files (including hex editors). Furthermore, our engineers inspect randomly selected or explicitly specified data to ensure the quality of the recovered files. If such spot checks are not desired, please notify us in writing before starting the data recovery or diagnosis.
For security reasons, we only work with 1: 1 raw data copies (sector copies) of customer data media to offline media. All workstations that process customer data are disconnected from the network and are treated exclusively offline. The files reconstructed in this way are evaluated in no relation to your structured master data. Copies will be kept for 14 days after completion of the process. After expiration of this period they will be safely deleted.
If you contact us by means of the inquiry form on the website, by e-mail or by phone, the following voluntarily given data will be stored only on a server inside our laboratory, in case of the webform also on our web server, but only for a maximum of 60 seconds until it is transferred to the local server: Name, full address, contact details, media description, error description and needed data as well as IP address and session ID. The data provided by you are required to fulfil the contract or to carry out pre-contractual measures. Without this data we can not conclude the contract with you. A transfer of data to third parties will not take place without your consent, with the exception of the transmission to the transport company / shipping company commissioned by us for the collection or delivery of the media as well as to our tax advisor to fulfil our tax obligations and any legal authorities for the purpose of reporting an actual breach of applicable laws.
In the case of a contract, all data from the contractual relationship will be stored - even in the case of an expressed request for deletion - until the end of the taxable storage period (seven years in Austria, ten years in Germany). If the media is not sent, your contractual data will be stored until the end of the following calendar year in the event of a renewed contact.
Data processing takes place on the basis of the statutory provisions of § 96 (3) TKG and Art. 6 para. 1 lit a (consent) and / or lit b (necessary for fulfilment of the contract) of the GDPR.
If you unsolicitedly send us your data (e.g. exemplary defective files or error messages, but also CVs for unsolicited applications), you can assume that we will treat your e-mail just as well as all other e-mails.
